Introduction:
Explore Watersports was started in 2017 to create thrilling and exciting experiences for travellers who wanted to explore the world of water sports. The company has served more than 20,000 water sports and adventure enthusiasts so far and has earned a name for itself.
Our PADI-certified team has served a few thousand customers by curating magical SCUBA diving experiences on Grande Island in Goa and has earned a lot of appreciation. We also arrange water activities like Kayaking, Flyboarding, Surfing, Bungee jumping for individual as well as corporate clients.
Our Story
In 2012, when Ankit Kumar, the founder of Explore Water Sports, visited Goa as a tourist, he was totally disappointed with the experience of water sports. The operators didn’t deliver what they had promised. Finding reasons for such bad service, he realised that the whole market was too unorganised and scattered. Since there was no one accountable, the service was poor, and tourists felt cheated.
In search of solutions, when he and his friends were toying with ideas, Explore Watersports was born. The company created an online platform, onboarded vendors after diligent scrutiny, and created an accountable network that looked after ‘the customer experience’. Purely by word of mouth, the company became well known and achieved good reviews and ratings.
After seeking first-hand experience in this business, EWS got into scuba diving operations and started curating better packages at a competitive price.
Team
Team EWS is a growing family, led by the Founder & Head (Operations) Mr Ankit Kumar. He holds 6 years’ experience in tourism, especially in adventure & water sports category. The Director of EWS, Ms Mehak Dhir, looks after policy making, and has been associated with the company since 2021. Our operations team, instructors and PADI certified divers are loved for seamless execution. Last but not the least, our cordial Sales team creates win-win situations by providing right guidance and affordable packages to our customers which helps in building a strong customer base of satisfied customers.

Locations
SCUBA diving is conducted at Grande Island, where one can witness underwater marvels. Rivers and backwaters provide perfect scenic routes for Kayaking. Mondovi also provides a safe space for exciting activities like Cruise Party, Stand-up Paddle Boarding and Jet-skiing. The long coastline provides many beaches for surfing.
Safety measures:
‘Customer safety’ is the top priority at Explore Watersports, hence all the safety protocols are followed. The use of lifejackets is mandatory, and the required safety equipment are available at the activity spots. Customers are oriented and trained well before activities, and backup plans are devised to tackle emergency situations.
